KARE BEARS BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Kare Bears is governed by a Board of Directors. All members of the Board must be full time residents of PebbleCreek and at least three (3) members of the Board must be current or former Unit Coordinators. Board members are elected for a two-year term of office and may seek re-election for a second term. A Board member may not serve longer then four (4) years, however, he/she may seek to be re-elected to the Board after a one (1) year hiatus. Mary McMahon
1st Vice President
1stvp@karebears.orgMary and her husband Mike moved to PebbleCreek in 2005 from Iowa. Mary
holds an Iowa CPA certificate and is a past board member of the
National Association of Management Accountants. She has volunteered
with Iowa Special Olympics and Boy Scouts of America as well as church
activities.

Arlis relocated
to Pebblecreek in 2008 from Honolulu, and has over 37 years experience teaching high school Business Education courses. She was was active in the Hawaii Business Education Association serving as president, and also taught for the Department of Defense and coordinated University of Hawaii
courses for military enlisted personnel in Korea.

A long time Arizona resident, Penny taught Learning Disabled and Fourth grade in Paradise Valley, and was very involved with the teacher's association board. She served lead positions with Block Watch. Since coming to PebbleCreek she has been active in Book Club, Tri-T, the Community Church and has served as a Kare Bears unit coordinator and office volunteer.

After retiring from IBM in Chicago, IL. Rich and his wife relocated to PebbleCreek in 2004. Rich co-ordinates the maintenance of Kare Bears House, and makes minor repairs Rich has also served on various PebbleCreek committees in support of the community.

Janis and her husband, David, moved to PebbleCreek from Kokomo, Indiana. Janis owned and successfully managed a Styling Salon and Lady's Apparel Boutique. She also sold Real Estate. She was active in many Community Service organizations. Presently she is a Unit 27 Coordinator and works in the Kare Bear House.

Mark's career history includes computer programming, system analysis, project management, Electronic Data Interchange, web site creation/maintenance and IT management. Mark and Sue relocated to PebbleCreek in 2006 from suburban Chicago.
