Welcome to the Kare Bears Resource Directory - the place to find helpful information and contacts for public and private organizations which can provide services to you and your family or to caregivers.
Please note that these are just a few of the many resources available out there, and that Kare Bears does not specifically endorse organizations. An excellent source for additional information is provided by the Area Agency of Aging, Region One at http://www.aaaphx.org. This private, non-profit corporation has a very extensive listing of local groups, organizations, housing alternatives and services outside of the PebbleCreek Community. You are encouraged to use their Senior Helpline at 602-264-HELP (602-264-4357) You can view this Resource Guide in two ways:
1) Download a printable version as an Adobe PDF file to print on your own printer. 2) View the online version with all current updates
The view will show all Guide entries grouped by the categories shown in the yellow heading lines. Where a web site is listed, you can click the site link to go
directly to that organization.
The new computer service we use to display this listing is not quite as "friendly" as the previous service, which went of out business. There are slightly over 400 entries in the Guide, but only 200 display at a time.
Referencing the red boxed area on the diagram above, use the inner single arrows "<" and ">" to move the display in groups of 200 records, indicated to begin at "1-200". Use the outer double arrows to go directly to the beginning or to the end. It's like VCR controls. Leave the selection on the right at "200 per page"
When you are through using the on-line Resource Guide, use the "Back" button in your web browser to return to the Kare Bears web site.
