Biography

My career has taken many twists and turns. I spent almost 30 years in corporate relocation half of which was in a company I founded. After I sold my company, I became a Business Broker and helped other business owners buy and sell their businesses. My husband and I decided to move from Irvine, CA to Durango, CO and bought a business ourselves. The business was an agency of a worldwide corporation. As an Agent we sold and serviced printers, copiers, facsimile equipment and various print supplies. We eventually sold that company and started a business where we took care of second homes for property owners. My husband continued to operate that business, and I was hired to run the Durango office and 6 county territory for a U.S. Congressman. All in all, I have had a wonderful business career learning, fine tuning and using skill sets that have served me well throughout my life. I’m so thankful for the discipline, variety and ability to work with all types of people throughout this wonderful country.

I have always tried to give back and as a result I have volunteered to work at, Food Banks, thrift stores, business organizations, and now Kare Bears. I started to drive for Kare Bears 3 years ago when we moved from Durango to Pebble Creek. I continue to drive residents to medical appointments but now have decided to serve the broader organization as a Board member.

My husband and I love this community and take advantage of all it has to offer. From Bocce to attending the various performances and everything in between we take time to enjoy our community and the people who make it their home.
