Biography
I have lived in PebbleCreek since January 2021 and volunteering with Kare Bears since January 2025, initially on the Technology Team, redesigning the website.
Having spent 39 years in the Aerospace Industry (in one company), I have had the opportunity for a rich diversity of experiences, careers, roles. I have achieved two very different notable positions: Executive Director in Engineering and Executive Director in Human Resources, Learning Training & Development.
Some of my roles & career opportunities were Mission Assurance (Quality), Safety & Airworthiness | Project & Program Management | Systems Engineering | Proposal Management | Logistics & Product Support | Electro-Mechanical design | Avionics Systems design | Flight Simulators | Contracts & Negotiations | Software Engineering | Web design in UI/UX.
In addition, I have three inventions and am a published author of 7 published works. I enjoy managing teams and have directly managed a variety of teams from as small as 5 people to as large as 400; on one project I influenced over 100,000 people with only 5 people.
Volunteering: 8 years for Pathways to Independence. My role was Event Planner & Supply Management; and on the Board of Directors, Marketing & Communications. Pathways helps disadvantaged women to get an education and become contributors to society. Each year we raised $900k to support 50 women.

In PebbleCreek, in addition to the Kare Bears Communications Director, I belong to: Ukulele Club, Pickleball Club, Art Club, Wine Club, Kare Bears Tech Team, LGBTQ Club. For additional fun, I like to travel, hike and I am a licensed Skipper to sail boats up to a 48-foot Catamaran; and have sailed the world.
