Biography
I have been a Kare Bears volunteer for a little over three years and previously served two years as the Director of Health & Wellness. Volunteering with Kare Bears has been a wonderful way to give back to a community that truly lives the spirit of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors.”
Before moving to PebbleCreek, I spent more than 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry, working in roles ranging from sales representative to Director of Commercial Insights and Analytics. My career moved me around the country nine different times, including stops in New York City, Seattle, Miami, and Philadelphia. While every place has its own charm, PebbleCreek is by far my favorite. It’s the kind of place where you walk in and immediately feel at home—and where neighbors truly take care of one another.
That sense of community is exactly why I joined Kare Bears: to help support the people and spirit that make PebbleCreek such a special place.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing Mah Jongg and Samba. I am an active member of the Wine Club. Although I don’t golf, I do live on a golf course—which has turned out to be far more entertaining than I expected. Let’s just say watching golfers provides plenty of entertainment all day.
I have two sons who live in the Seattle area and, despite my best (and persistent) encouragement, no grandchildren yet. I am also the sixth of ten children, which means I learned early how to negotiate, compromise, and bring people together—skills that serve me well when working with the amazing Kare Bears volunteers.
