Biography
I was born in San Jose, California and raised In Campbell, attending school and college there. While in college, I began working part time at IBM in San Jose and after graduating with my Degree in Business, I was hired as a full-time employee, working as an Administrative Assistant. I met my husband, an Electrical Engineer, at IBM and we were married in 1971, in Hawaii. In 1996, after raising our two daughters in Morgan Hill, California, my husband and I moved to Arizona and transferred to the IBM Office in Phoenix. In 1999, we built a home in Surprise, but in 2000, IBM transferred me to Dallas, Texas for three years working as a Customer Support Assistant. In 2003, we were transferred back to the Phoenix IBM Office and I worked as an Executive Assistant, supporting three Vice Presidents.
After returning to Phoenix in 2003, my husband and I built our home in Pebble Creek. In March of 2023, I retired from IBM after 43 years of service. In 2024, I joined Kare Bears as an Office Volunteer after attending an Open House. I also volunteer at Share Bears Bingo on Friday mornings and in 2025, was elected as one of the Vice Presidents of Kare Bears, working with the Office Volunteers.
